Wabi-sabi * Nature * symbolism

Inspired by the ancient tradition of magical tattooing as a form of ritual, I aspire to incorporate this philosophy into my modern day tattoo practice. Wabi-sabi, a Japanese concept of finding beauty in imperfection, is a world view that I live by that becomes a core element in my tattoo art. I find inspiration in nature and am drawn to symbolism, primitive art, folk art, and organic patterns.

Everything in life is energy. My intention in tattooing is to facilitate a genuine experience with my clients for them to receive a certain desired energy through mark-making.
