Was that you at the museum? I used to see you everywhere. Not anymore. Not even in my dreams. But I know it was you the other day. Speaking to me through that painting. How long has it been already? 19 years. This is the first time I finally allow myself to look at your face closely again. Yup, nothing has changed in my heart.
The art of not giving a f*ck
The practice of Invisibility
To be seen only by the people you like and the people who like you. [03.18.18]
Pain is a language.
It needs to be heard. [03.14.18]

Tribute to The Shape of Water
A tribute to this film that touches me to the core of my soul. It speaks what's in my heart that has been lacking words to describe. What love is. This film reminds me why I believe in art in the first place. It's not just the visuals, it's definitely not for entertainment purpose. It's the spiritual connection with another soul through its purest expression.
"Unable to perceive the shape of You, I find You all around me. Your presence fills my eyes with Your love, It humbles my heart, For You are everywhere." [12.26.17]
You are not a brand
"A face without freckles is like a night without stars." [12.18.17]
Fear the pussy
I finally realize, all the heartaches and pain were to prepare me to help others go through theirs. [12.12.17]
Don't play that game
Bluebird of Happiness
"The beggar man and his mighty king are only diff'rent in name, For they are treated just the same by fate. Today a smile and tomorrow tears, We're never sure what's in store, So learn your lesson before too late, so... Be like I, hold your head up high, Till you find a bluebird of happiness. You will find greater peace of mind, Knowing there's a bluebird of happiness."
Where should I start? It began with a death. Part of me was gone with it. From then on, old memories faded and life slowly rebuilt itself. When the second one arrived I was more prepared. If pain is inevitable, I will then learn to celebrate it with full embrace. Moving on only strengthens the idea of having a past you're trying too hard to forget. Just let it be.

Happiness and Suffering
"There are two kinds of suffering: the suffering that leads to more suffering and the suffering that leads to the end of suffering. If you are not willing to face the second kind of suffering, you will surely continue to experience the first." - Achaan Chan <A Still Forest Pool>
“Do everything with a mind that lets go. Do not expect any praise or reward. If you let go a little, you will have a little peace. If you let go a lot, you will have a lot of peace. If you let go completely, you will know complete peace and freedom. Your struggles with the world will have come to an end.” - Achaan Chah <A Still Forest Pool>
Rules are tools
“At first, cling to the rules, make them a burden. Afterwards, you can carry them lightly. But you must experience the heaviness first, just as before one can go beyond suffering, one must experience suffering. One who is conscientious is at first like a freshwater fish in salt water — trying to keep rules, his eyes will burn and sting. Whereas one who is indifferent and negligent will not be disturbed but will also never learn to see.” - Achaan Chah <A Still Forest Pool>
"Constant mindfulness in all postures and activities will make the mind calm and clear. But this calm is not the end point of practice. Tranquil states give the mind a temporary rest, as eating will temporarily remove hunger, but that is not all there is to life. You must use the calmed mind to see things in a new light, the light of wisdom. When the heart becomes firm in this wisdom, you will not adhere to worldly standards of good and bad and will not be swayed by external conditions. With wisdom, dung can be used for fertilizer -- all our experiences become sources of insight." - Achaan Chah, "A Still Forest Pool"
"If we are kind, it will be a kind world." - David [05.24.17]

"Either you care, or you don't. There's no in-between. And if you care, then go all of the way."
- Stanley Kubrick
The first pancake
For the kind-hearted souls in my life for sharing their wisdom.
"In the absence of That Which You Are Not, that which You Are is not."
- Neale Donald Walsch
"If you can be absolutely comfortable with not knowing who you are, then what's left is who you are -- the Being behind the human, a pure field of potentiality rather than something that's already defined." - Eckhart Tolle [03.24.17]
